THE HUMAN MEMORY  CHIP

Designed By People Just Like You!

Designed to make your life better!

ABOUT

Our goal is to help everybody, especially people with memory loss problems, such as Alzheimer's, amnesia, dementia, and so on. This is a big problem and it needs to be solved. You might not know the feeling personally, but it is sad when a loved one has a memory loss condition and forgets your name and other important information. To solve this tragic problem, we have come up with a solution. Our idea is a human memory chip. This chip has the brain send the memory to the chip. The chip stores your memories forever, while the brain eventually forgets. When you want to view your memories you put on the projector headpiece which will connect to the chip and you say which memory you want to watch, for example "my 5th birthday party".

Current Technology

What it looks like today

Currently, there are some powerful computer chips out there. There is the 6-core i7-4930K, which is strong and economical... More on Current Technology page.

History

Inventions that could make our idea possible

In 1823, Baron Jons Jacob Berzelius discovered silicon, which today is the basic component of processors... More on History page.

Future Technology

What it will be like in the future

The future technology is essentially current technology, but more advanced. One component is the chip. The type of chip we will use is not certain yet, but we are certain of the amount of storage that we would need... More on Future Technology page.

Design Process

How we came up with the HMC

We started the process by coming up with three possible ideas: a allergy reaction prevention candy, the human memory chip, and an ocean cleaner... More on Design Process page.

Consequences

What our idea might cause

We have multiple consequences, including financial issues, someone stealing your memories, and more... More on Consequences page.

Breakthroughs

Advancements made and to be made for the HMC to exist

We need multiple breakthroughs for our idea to become a reality. We would need a chip that has 200 terabytes, or more, for storage... More on Breakthroughs page.

DISCLAIMER: THE HMC IS NOT A PHYSICAL PRODUCT, MERELY AN IDEA. ANYTHING ELSE HAVING THE NAME "HMC PROJECT" IS SEPARATE FROM OUR IDEA. WE DO NOT TAKE RESPONSIBILITY FOR MISUSE OF THE PROVIDED INFORMATION.
